Paws Butler Policies

We want to ensure that all of our clients are pleased with the services we offer, therefore, if ever you are dissatisfied with any of our services or Paws Butlers, please notify us within 24 hours of service so we may rectify the situation with you. We pride ourselves on developing long-term committed relationships with our customers!
Confidentiality:
Paws Butler will keep all information from our client(s) 100% confidential. All Paws Butlers are required to adhere to strict confidentiality policies and must sign a client confidentiality form prior to servicing any client. We pride ourselves on acquiring and maintaining the trust of our clients!
Cancellation Policy:
0-48 HOURS prior to any service, and/or Holiday NO REFUNDS
3-7 DAYS prior to service 80% refund
8 DAYS or longer prior to service 100% refund
There will be a $50 service charge for each invalid credit card charge, returned check and/or returned payment through PayPal. If for some reason a client fails to adhere to this policy they will be billed 100% for the entire service(s) reserved. In addition clients returning early will be billed for the agreed upon time of service and service(s). Clients returning late will be responsible for additional fees as well as the regular fees for service(s) agreed upon during their absence as to maintain the standard of care Paws Butler has set. Any additional fees incurred by Paws Butler during clients absence to maintain the agreed upon care will be the responsibility of the client.
We reserve the right to refuse services or terminate services to any client for any reason.
Retriever Fee
Pick up or drop off of client’s key by a Paws Butler at time other than during free initial
in-home consultation or completion of assignment.
$15 per visit
Key Maintenance:
All keys will be kept in a secure location
Ready Key Program:
For a nominal fee you can enroll in the Paws Butler Ready Key Program which will enable us to be ready on short notice to come to your house without arranging for a consultation. This service is offered to repeat clients only.
Holiday Fees
There is an additional charge for visits on the following holidays:
Easter Christmas Eve Day
Memorial Day Christmas Day
4th of July New Years Eve Day
Labor Day New Years Day
Thanksgiving Day
$5 per service
Fees subject to change without notice, price does not include cost of any items purchased on behalf of the client. Please read all stipulations noted in contract for each service and/or package. Time is calculated in 15 minute increments. Paws Butler is licensed, bonded and insured.
Payment Policy:
At time of reservation we require a valid credit card to hold your reservation. For all new customers your credit card will be automatically billed for the entire agreed upon and signed contracted service upon completion of our meet and greet. For returning customers, your credit card will be automatically billed for the entire service(s) requested at time of reservation. Reservations will not be guaranteed until payment is received in full and a service contract has been signed. Please see our cancellation policy for schedule of refunds. We only accept credit cards. You will receive receipt of this payment by email. Our Paws Butlers never collect or carry payments. All payments must be made through Paws Butlers’ main office or via the internet. There will be a $50 service charge for each invalid credit card charge, returned check and/or returned payment through PayPal.
Paws Butler Visitation Hours:
For safety reasons, all Paws Butler will complete outdoor assignments ½ hour after sunset and not begin outdoor services until ½ hour before sunrise.
Office Hours:
Paws Butler office hours are Monday-Friday 9am to 5pm. Paws Butler may be contacted after hours via email or voice mail, however, calls and emails will not be answered until the next normal business day. In case of emergency you may call our phone number and we will be contacted.
Pet Immunizations:
Every animal will be current on its rabies vaccinations prior to the arrival of any Paws Butler. It is the responsibility of the pet owner to guarantee that each animal will remain current on its rabies vaccinations throughout each service visit period. Any pet going outside of the home, including via Paws Butler pet VIP Pet Taxi service, must have all current state required immunizations. Proof of these immunizations in form of a copy to be given to Paws Butler must be presented to the Paws Butler during their initial consultation. These immunization records will be kept on file with Paws Butler.
Initial Paws Butler Consultation - Meet & Greet:
All Paws Butler clients must have an initial Pet Concierge Consultation prior to beginning any service, no exceptions. This consultation provides your Paws Butler an opportunity to get to know the family they will be servicing and any special needs required. This is a complimentary service.
Job Sharing:
Paws Butler does not share duties with other persons that are not contracted through our company. Paws Butler will not be held liable and/or responsible for problems arising with your pets or home when someone other than a contracted Paws Butler person is involved. If you have other individuals assigned to care for your animals and/ or house during your contracted time with Paws Butler, we reserve the right to terminate our service to protect our liability and ensure the safety of our Paws Butlers.
Leash:
All animals must be leashed while outside of the home....No exceptions! It is the responsibility of the pet owner to provide Paws Butler with an appropriate leash and collar that is deemed safe. It is the sole responsibility of the pet owner to keep the leash and collar in good working condition. Paws Butler is not responsible for pets that get loose due to faulty equipment provided to Paws Butler by the pet owner.
Pet ID:
All pets under the care of Paws Butler are required to wear a Paws Butler ID Tag during the entire length of time they are under Paws Butler’s care. ID tag will be provided by Paws Butler - No Charge.
Last Minute Reservations:
A minimum of a six day reservation is required for all new clients. A minimum of four day reservation is required on repeat customers. All reservations are dependent upon availability of Paws Butler Pet Concierges. If Paws Butler is able to accommodate last minute reservations an additional fee will be added to each service requested. Please see cancellation policy for a schedule of refunds.
Emergency Disaster Plan:
In the event of an emergency, Paws Butler will definitely try to see to your pets safety and care, but we cannot guarantee it. It is suggested that arrangements be made with someone that lives close to your home to evacuate your pets in case of a disaster or weather related event.
